World Golfers Championship Singapore is an international golf tournament that begins each year with qualifiers from around the world. WGC is designed to give amateur golfers the thrill and prestige of a global championship event. WGC has 5 handicap index flights: 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20 and 21-25. This way everyone plays individually against others of equal skill, and as a National Team. Players must be 16 years of age and above, Male or Female, and Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents. Participating Countries 2009
The following countries participated in the 2008 World Finals: - Austria, Armenia, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and U.S.A. These counties were joined by Ireland, Thailand, Philippines, Brazil, Kenya, Australia and New Zealand in 2009.

World Golfers Championship Singapore 2009 Format
Club Qualifiers will be held at most Singapore golf clubs from March to September 2009 with a maximum of 130 golfers playing in each round. The golf clubs will include: -
